Some choice words about life from Mother Theresa. Wonderful stuff.
I’m glad to have been reminded of this - sometimes the futility of action gets to me.
Erosion is a powerful force in this world - monumental catastrophes happen and mountains suddenly are torn into the landscape, and erosion simply begins its work straight away, and before you know it, the mountain is gone.
This force of erosion is at work in everything on the planet, I think. People drift apart, relationships slowly grow cold, and what amazing things you achieve today are soon forgotten - and even worse - undone.
Mother Theresa has the right of it here - that does not matter. Be aware of erosion, but also remember that as a human, you are built in the image of your creator God. You are an earthquake, a disruptor, a changer. That is your job. Change things. Do. Create. Be.
And when erosion takes it away?
Do it again, but a little different this time, just for the hell of it.
