St Paul Outside the Walls, these are the chains that shackled Paul when they brought him to Rome some 2,000 years ago.
Below this you can see a section of his tomb as well.

St Paul Outside the Walls, Rome
This was my favorite church we visited in Rome. Far from the tourist throngs of Vatican City, this cathedral had a quiet dignity about it that I felt was lacking at St Peter’s Basilica - also, for me, the emphasis at St Peters seemed to be on humans - lots of pope enshrined there, whereas at St Paul Outside the Walls, the focus seemed to be more on God and Jesus - lots of tributes to Jesus and the Disciples in sculpture and painting.
And it was deserted, so that was wonderful as well, to get some quiet to reflect and say hello to God.
They house the religious relic here that is a piece of the Chains they brought Paul to Rome in.
Pretty cool to see!

The statue of St Paul shown here must be the coolest statue of Paul there is - looking all Assassin’s Creed-y with his heavy hooded cloak and drawn sword.
A fantastic place, this, my favorite of the churches in Rome.
