Newborn baby named “Hashtag” by parents
Well, this may be a first. Apparently a mom is so enamored by social media, that she decided to name her baby “Hashtag”, which to many is also known as the pound sign (#).
Lol, hashtag.
My name has been shortened from Ashley, to Ash, to hash and hashman, but hash tags weren’t a thing when we were doling out nicknames so I avoided being a hash tag - having said that, I do sign my name as “#” at times.

Sun, sea and pecks: Ostriches go for a SWIM at the beach

It’s amazing what you can do if you stick your neck out…
We don’t normally associate ostriches with swimming, but this pair showed anything is possible.
The birds were spotted having a dip off a beach at Yzerfontein in South Africa.
While it may be a rare sight, ostriches actually have no problems in the water thanks to the giant kicks their legs can deliver.
